How do we handle problem users? It would be super great to have it for protoc-jar-maven-plugin. Currently one needs to run mvn generate-source or mvn protobuf: Unicorn Meta Zoo 9: Maybe it could plugib an upgrade, along with m2e.

PaulVerest I told you it was only a partial answer but you told me to answer anyways: I see in the source code of the plugin that it correctly adds the generated files to the maven project, so in Eclipse, once you add it as source folder, and don't clean without re-compiling, it should still work.

So, in the clean builds, Eclipse will deep scan all folders to "find out" the new stuff, but in a "build" it tends to trust its alternate universe of the Maven config, which often misses generated items.
